Excellence in design, excellence in integrated marketing. Those are the key criteria for BILD’s prestigious Pinnacle Awards for Best Overall Marketing Campaign and Project of The Year – Mid/High Rise, and they’re precisely what garnered Cielo the win in both categories at this year’s spectacular event.

The BILD Awards recognize excellence and innovation in the design, construction, sales, and marketing of new homes in the Greater Toronto Area, and are presented by the Building Industry and Land Development Association. The Pinnacle awards, as the name suggests, represent the absolute best of the bunch, and we are honoured that Cielo has earned two of these illustrious accolades.

Best Overall Marketing Campaign

Inspired by the indefinable cloud, Cielo’s marketing campaign captured the ethereal spirit of the brand in every touchpoint from the community name (a word that means both “sky and heaven” in Italian and Spanish); to dreamlike installations from Dutch artist, Berndnaut Smilde; to artistic collaborations that included a mural from artist Troy Lovegates for ArtworxTO, a collaboration with local artist “Pen To Papier” that will hang on site once the development is complete, and participation in Fleurs de Villes ROSÉ, where a renowned floral artist created an installation appropriately titled, “The Cloud,” using hundreds of pink and white blooms.

Project of The Year – Mid/High Rise

All of these elements (and many more) combined to tell the story of Cielo, a community that exemplifies the values for Project of the Year. The award recognizes the project that best embodies excellence in design, marketing, quality, and innovation. With remarkable architecture from KPMB that sees a statement of refined modernism, poised above a 19th century neo-Gothic landmark; unparalleled amenity programming that cultivates a real sense of community; scintillating skyline views; a prime location with transit just outside the front door and access to the city's most venerable cultural, educational, entertainment, and retail venues; and a rare Bloor Street address, Cielo certainly checks all those boxes.

These awards are the latest kudos for a community that has won the hearts and minds not only of industry associations, but of the purchasers who have chosen to make Cielo their new home. Construction is progressing steadily and soon the crane will be erected on site, moving us one step closer to the brilliant reality of this iconic architectural masterpiece.
