The 2018 BILD Award Nominations have been released and Collecdev has been recognized in four categories:

For a company that counts innovation, sustainable building, and collaboration among its core principles, these nominations are recognition that we’re hitting the mark, and we are proud and honoured to receive them.

The annual BILD Awards, presented by the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), celebrate excellence in the Greater Toronto Area’s land development and new home industry. The awards recognize outstanding achievement by developers, architects, designers, and sales and marketing professionals across the region.

Best Salesperson or Team, Mid/High-rise
Kudos to our exceptional sales team from Milborne Group. This team of industry professionals received a nomination for Best Salesperson or Team, thanks to their strong network, expert market knowledge, and ability to shape the product mix to deliver exactly what buyers demand.

Best Innovative Suite Design
This category recognizes innovative architectural and design practices that deliver a better way to live; our two-bedroom, two-bathroom E8 unit at Westwood Gardens does exactly that. Designed by Kirkor Architects, with finishes by Tomas Pearce IDC, the 699 square foot layout maximizes every last square inch to deliver a spacious residence where everything flows naturally from one room to the next.

A signature kitchen, featuring quartz countertops and duo-tone cabinets, blends seamlessly into the open concept living/dining space. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame an expansive balcony and bathe every corner of the suite in natural light. Split bedrooms maximize privacy, while a geothermal heating and cooling system maintains a comfortable atmosphere and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 70% year after year.

Best Marketing Person or Team
We’ve always known that our VP of Sales and Marketing, Natascha Pieper, was an industry superstar. Now, with her second nomination for Best Marketing Person or Team (following a nomination in the same category in 2016, and two-time recognition as a silver-award winner for Best Marketing Person at the National Association of Home Builders Awards), everyone else knows it too.

As an integral member of Collecdev, Natascha has been assembling and leading teams of clients and collaborators to design, market, and successfully launch multi-residential developments across the GTA. With Westwood Gardens, Pieper succeeded once again, delivering a project that was well-received not only by the industry (nominated for three NAHB Awards and four BILD Awards, including coveted Project of the Year and People’s Choice), but, most importantly, by the market, attracting eager buyers and setting new records for sales.

Green Builder of the Year - Mid/High-Rise
Saving the best for last, our nomination for Green Builder of the Year is recognition that our efforts to build thriving communities with sustainable building initiatives, have not gone unnoticed, and we couldn’t be prouder. Sustainable practice informs much of what we do at Collecdev. At Westwood Gardens, we have invested in an innovative geothermal heating and cooling system that saves 5 million litres of water per year. Greenhouse gas emissions will be 70% lower than conventional buildings. And residents will reap the benefits of a cleaner, healthier, more comfortable environment.

At Collecdev we feel it’s both an honour and a responsibility to create, support, and protect communities, the environment, and the people who enjoy them.
