TRETTI keeps residents connected
October 5, 2023

Exciting news! TRETTI’s direct pathway to Wilson Subway Station is now complete. Running along the western façade of the building, tucked between expansive glazing and a leafy, tree-lined landscape, the pedestrian promenade connects residents directly to Wilson Subway Station. From there, it's 2 minutes to Yorkdale Shopping Centre, 4 minutes to GO Transit, 11 minutes to York University, 16 minutes to the University of Toronto, and 24 minutes to Union Station – a full slate of the city’s most important intersectional hubs, all within 30 minutes or less.

This is the kind of connectivity we integrate into every Collecdev community, supporting our commitment to Experiential Design, building multi-layered, human-centred, future-proofed environments that respond to the way people really want to live.

The direct subway connection is just one of several elements that put TRETTI residents in a prime position to enjoy high-quality modern urban living. There's also the charming neighbourhood of Wilson Heights with its family-friendly parks, local delis, and classic cafes. The area includes two lush greenbelts; 11 acres of grass and play space at Clanton Park; Balmoral Park, with tennis courts and a splash pad; Earl Bales Park, with some of the only ski slopes in the city; Scotiabank Pond, home to four NHL-sized ice rinks; and Downsview Park, with concerts, sports, and activities twelve months a year. Kitty-corner from home, Yorkdale Shopping Centre offers up 2-million square feet of best-in-class retail across 270 stores including Burberry, Cartier, Holt Renfrew, Nordstrom, Apple, Tesla, and Moncler. And a few blocks away, there are community staples like Costco, Home Depot, Best Buy, and the LCBO.

Turning to transportation, in just 3 minutes, drivers can be cruising across Highway 401 (en route to flying across the ocean, if they use it to get to Toronto Pearson International Airport, which is just a 12-minute drive from home). Of course, with sustainability top of mind, TRETTI also encourages a number of alternative transportation methods thanks to features like electric vehicle charging stations, a car sharing program in partnership with Kite Mobility, and long-term bicycle parking.

Already boasting a Transit Score of 89%, TRETTI will also soon benefit from the ambitious Finch West LRT expansion that will see an 11-kilometre light rail transit line with 18 new stops; the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension, connecting Downsview Station to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre; and an extensive network of new pedestrian and cycling trails throughout the neighbourhood.

It’s truly the best of all worlds - Scandinavian inspired, Toronto based, and directly linked to the TTC subway, keeping you connected to anything and everything. Stay tuned, there are more exciting updates to come.
