VP Natascha Pieper shares her expert outlook at the property show
April 26, 2018

The Spring installment of The Property Show took place earlier this month and, in between networking with some of the industry’s best and brightest, Collecdev VP of Sales & Marketing, Natascha Pieper (an industry force in her own right), made time to share her expert insights in a panel discussion, Real Estate Marketing Redefined.

Drawing a distinction between the traditional marketing tactics of the past (namely cost-intensive investments in television, radio, and print) and the new digital landscape that exists today, Natascha outlined how today’s approach to real estate marketing provides a more cost-effective, more targeted method for reaching an audience.

“These days a lot of developers are leveraging digital technology. It’s much more cost effective and you can target groups and actually start a communication and a conversation online, which enables you to connect more with your potential purchasers and develop those relationships.”

With the hyper-competitive market of 2017 (last year saw 36,000 condo units sold) Pieper also highlighted the need for developers to create marketing campaigns that stand out from the crowd, and emphasized that today purchasers are more informed, more knowledgeable, and more demanding than ever before.

Aided by strong relationships with the broker community, however, developers can still succeed in delivering exactly what buyers want.

“The brokers inform product design, early on in the development stages. They understand what their buyers are looking for – if they’re looking for larger suites, smaller suites, investor suites – and a lot of that is driven by location.”

Other speakers at the event included seasoned mortgage broker Carmen Costa; Jas Takhar and Mark Loeffer with investing expertise; and esteemed broker Hunter Milborne’s insider perspective on the current market. The Property Show will be back November 3rd. And for more insights from our respected VP, follow her on LinkedIn.
